Test Facility: RTM Productions (Powerblock segments for Horsepower TV, Musclecar, Extreme 4x4 and Trucks)
Test Equipment – DTS Engine Dyno (seen above)
Test Engine: General Motors LS7 – 427 ci
(“the biggest, baddest small-block ever built by GM according to Popular Hot Rodding”)
Untreated Fuel– Brake Specific Fuel Consumption - .92 lb/hphr Fitch Treated Fuel – Brake Specific Fuel Consumption -.84 lb/hphr
Results: 9% Average Reduction in Fuel Consumption
Conclusion: Fitch treated fuel significantly reduced fuel consumption and improved horsepower and torque on one of GM’s best engines ever designed. This dyno test proves engine performance and efficiency is directly influenced by the quality of fuel.
NOTE : Horsepower TV will air an editorial segment about these great results with Fitch on SPIKE Channel, FITCH airs Sept 22, 12:00 noon & Sept. 23 11:00 am. Keep an eye out for it.
